Yesterday I had the best day of my life.
    Meet and greet with Dir en grey where we had the chance to go on a picture with them all and talk to them.
    It was pretty obvious Die is loving the dutch beer with him porobably already having some when the meet was and on stage already working on his second can after a mini break for Lotus (the third song).
    He gave me a nice tight hug after I complimented him about his English (which was REALLY good!) and when I asked him if he could take of his sunglasses, he politely refused because he was "very tired" and laughed which showed that stunning smile (obviously I'm in love hahaha!) When asked if he knew about how he had called himself a "fuckin rockstar" he had to laugh and answered "I cant remember that" but the laugh said enough.

    Shinya was really shy, just nodding and a bit shy when i asked if i could give them a hug (because of Die, I really tried my luck wiht all four of them hahaha) and he just gestured liek "ok, comeon, quickly!" with his hands hahaha XD

    Toshiya was very sweet, smiling sweetly and doing his best to reply and understand us. obviously his engish isnt as far advanced as Die's is. It took him a moment to realize when my friend asked if Kyo was going to join later on to which he looked rather confused, asking 'Ko?" before we asked "No Kyo!" and then he shook his head with a sweet smile, "AAh, yes, No, no Kyo." My friend joked and hung over the waist-high fence and asked 'Not even here?" TTo look behind it and that made him crack up, showing his pretty braces!!! So he still has those. He loved being in the netherlands again "Cool museum!"(yes we have a lot of great artists, dont we? Dutch priiide!) and gladly gave me a hug.

    Kaoru was just content and smiling and when i asked him if he was looking forward to the gig, he just answered with a content hum/grunt and gave me a hug too before we took the pictures.

    By now Die was just standing there all alone, flinging his hair back like he always did and smiling and laughing so I asked if I could take another picture of him which he gladly 'posed' for. So now I have a high res reference picture of the snake skin tat <3 Also i noticed Toshiya and kaoru looking, Toshiya being amazed by how tall I was as he made a quick sign to Kaoru about the height difference.

    We asked if we could do another group picture but the manager said our time was up and was quite strict about it (not in annoying way but... hey, the show still had to go on, right?) So we got our goodies and what not with pictures in hand, waving and wishing them good luck before they left.

    And that's when I finally realised that I've been talking with my hero's, my idols, my gods, the ones that give me strength both through music as through pictures (Die has always been a good one on how goofy and smiley he always was eventhough they made depressive videos and songs. That always cheered me up when he smiled or just smoked relaxingly when I wasnt feeling good.) And that wihtout stuttering orfainting or... whatever. it felt so natural like i finally saw some friends again I havent seen in ages. They all were so cheerful and open for chat and laughs that it felt realy good!

    it was when the gig started, 30 minutes later and they came on stage that I blacked out as I guess it finally sunk in that it wasnt just a group of random nice men I had been talking to... but actually those amazing men I adore for so many years already.

    The concert itself was amazing as it was one huge rush of adreneline. Great few moshpits but eough space to still hang around if you didnt enjoy them (I went in quite a lot but my stomina doesnt allow e to do so for the full 2 hours hahaha) the band was having a lot of fun as Die was trying to cclimb on his boxset to eg to teh balcony, which didnt work eventhoughw e all cheered hard for him. the acapella's were beautifully done and everyone was actually quiet and when you heard the starting riff from Shinya which he aways does to start the next song after the 'inward screams' teh crowd just went nuts which only left Kyo grinning from ear to ear and actually motioning us to be louder!!! also each and every time when he saw the moshpit (which was basically there the entire concert in the middle of the hall) he grinned content and shouted "More more!" with a big content grin like we werent fierce enough eventhough pretty much everyone was joining in by then hahahah!
    Kaoru was just stading there with that jaw shoved forward like he always does when he is amused and Tohsya went nutters as always.
    We caught Die singign aong which he always does when he isnt yelling to the crowd and actially was once too close to the mic that you could hear him sing Kyo's lines which was amusing when he quickly backed off. Also he often looked into the pitt to ee if it was still going, rather scared that teh vibe might have stopped but parading and jumping aroun proudly again, shouting and showing middlefingers when he noticed we were still going strong.

    The biggest surprise however was... Aint Afraid To Die. When we were still waiting in a room efore the meet and greet would strat for us VIPS, we already throught we were hearing it, but went like "nah, They were talking about old songs but not THAT old." but when they played it, te entire crowd sang along proudly and me and my friends leaving there smiling from ear to ear, singing along every bit of text while tears of joy were running. We never throught we would ever hear that song live in our entire life.

    Afterthat thought we didnt get muh time to recover as eventhough tehy were all standing at the front, looking at teh crowd singing along , they quickly shot over to Reiketsu Nariseba to which we just shouted, cheered and whistekled and jumped into more pits and headbanging.

    The gig was prett logn and it took quite long till Toshiya´s, kaoru's and Die's selfesteem were boosted to double platinum status as tehy just kept running around without instruments or goodies to toss and just cupping their ears and motioning to let us cheer more eventhough the roof was practically blasted off already with how mad we were going.

    This seriously has been the best gig I've ever attented. Not just because of the meet and greet but EVERYTHING was perfect. We had a great crowd who went along with everyone and actually had the best for eachother (so people protected other people from the mostpits if they noticed the other person didnt want to end up in it, places were shifted so that smaller people could see better, Even when I tiptoed so i could see the guitar solos of Different Sense better, the guy infront of me go atap on the shoulder of hsi friend when he noticed I tried to look over him as I couldnt see one hand of Die and he just bended forward so I could. Note that I'm 1.88 whch was already pretty hilarious with the meet and greet <3!)Also who sang along an grunted/shouted/cheered their hearts out. The band seemed to have enjoyed the concert greatly which only stimulated us more to continue our raging effort and the setlist was just one massive rush of adreneline. All of this making this the utmost perfect concert ever.
